Shaun Bloodworth started his career as an editorial photographer in 1989. His work took him to war in the Balkans, kayaking around the Queen Charlotte Islands, and to the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine.
But he is perhaps most well-known for his photographs of underground electronic music figures and events, which began with the early years of London’s dubstep scene, collaborating with the likes of Rinse, FWD>>, Bleep and Tempa. His iconic portraits captured a generation, shot with an inimitable compositional eye.
The Shaun Bloodworth Archive has been created by his friends and contemporaries, to celebrate his life and work. A full website is currently under construction.
